Consumers who attend the shows discover new products and trends across all categories of home improvement.
Traditional methods for finding contractors don't provide much transparency to the consumer since many are paid advertisements. Before FindAPro.com, there was no easy way to check a contractor's reputation. Unfortunately, many unscrupulous contractors were able to provide poor quality work without ramifications. We built FindAPro.com in order to bring visibility and accountability to the world of home improvement. We provide our users with independent reviews, pictures, and information so they are able to make educated decisions before they hire.
Our Certified Pros have undergone rigorous screening to make sure they have a stellar reputation in the community. We call references, check with suppliers, call other Pro's, conduct background checks, verify business filings, check with consumer affairs, verify insurance, and scour the web to make sure we only certify reputable professionals. If we have any doubt that a contractor is not reliable and reputable, we will not certify them.
