He is incredible
Peter has been a trusted resource for fifteen years. In that time he has been quick to resolve a number of house emergencies. He is the absolute best and has done almost every type of job in my home.
His responsiveness has been crucial with some of the leaks he has fixed. He has also done carpentry, painted, and led a team of professionals on other work in my home. Peter is good at everything, but if I need advice he is always there as well. He is the first person I call for home improvement.
Peter is one of the only people I trust in my home. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Good contractors are hard to find and I feel fortunate to have found him. more...

Owner on site
Peter is a great guy! He has done a number of jobs for me in the past year. Whether the jobs were larger or small the same quality results are seen. He is very friendly and personable, making working with him a pleasure.
There has been handyman work taken care of by Peter and smaller jobs such as new bathroom tile, but even if he subcontracts his work he is on site to make sure it all runs smoothly. This was evident in the conversion of oil to gas that was rather major. Another big job was a detailed deck he built.
I would definitely use him again and recommend him for others. Peter is kind and does great work at a good price. You cannot ask for much more than that. more...

He saved me
The Caldwell's are very well known in my area and have a great reputation. Peter has saved me! He is honest, thorough, and best of all from past experiences I never had to worry whether he was sober on the job.
I have had experiences with some poor untrusting contractors, but fortunately Peter was on the job site as well. He would keep an eye on the shipments of materials and confirm things that sounds outrageous. For instance, I had a decorator order 78 gallons of paint. I have also had people trying to walk off the job with materials, such as a sink. He stopped this and made sure I was aware. It was crucial that a pair of eyes were at my home when I was unable to babysit.
Aside from his street smarts, Peter is also very knowledgeable in the industry of home improvement. He offers advice and advisement to fellow contractors on the job. This ensures a job well done. This falls in line with his ability to resolve problems before they grow into larger issues.
It is obvious that I trust him in my home and value his services greatly. It really goes without saying that I find him to be a highly reputable and reliable person, as well as contractor. I offer the highest of recommendations! more...

No complaints at all
I stumbled upon Home Comfort & Safety Inspections to install solar panels on my home. Of the three contractors I brought in he seemed to be the least corrupt. So far I am glad I chose them.
The most important thing since it was installed last year has been no leaks. The crew was punctual and did a great job. The work was done in a pretty reasonable amount of time as well. I would recommend Peter to work on your home. more...

A painless contractor
Pete has done numerous jobs for me in my past home. He came very highly recommended from a friend of mine. He converted my home from oil to gas and took on an extensive basement renovation as well.
The basement renovation entailed all facets of contracting. There was electrical work, plumbing, framing, and sheetrock work at the start of the job. Despite the size of the job it was finished on time and on budget. What else could you want in a contractor. He also cleaned up daily. There is no reason to use anyone else. more...
