Professional company
Pat had lead a crew over ten years ago to replace our roof and install new windows. Him and his crews are nice people and the quality of the work is great. We have no had any issues since the work was done. He runs a very professional operation with respectful, clean employees. Overall we are very pleased with his company and their efforts. As a testament to his customer service, we usually touch base with him at least once a year. more...

The jobs kept getting bigger
I originally had Islander Home Improvement give me an estimate for the renovation of two bathrooms. Since that time, which was about six years ago, I have had a laundry list of work done by Islander. They have replaced walls, installed sliding glass doors and windows, and renovated a kitchen. As you can imagine from all the work I have given them, we enjoy their quality and business demeanor. A great contact to have in the contracting industry
A friend of mine recommended Pat almost five years ago when I was looking to add extension onto the back of my house. I cannot say enough good things about Pat. He has a great deal of professionalism and his realm of networks is vast. The end results of all the labor was a fantastic new addition to my home.
While the majority of the subcontractors were well above average, we did have two issues. I had conflicts with the plumber to the point Pat stepped in and removed him from the job. I was very pleased with how my satisfaction was of importance. There was a general handyman that took care of all the odds and ends, including picking up the slack for the plumber's absence. The work still went on without a hitch.
The builders were amazing. They had everything framed in less than a week. The windows and siding were installed almost five years ago and there are still no issues. I actually had them back to install gutters recently.
Pat was an ideal general contractor. I have referred him and keep his number handy for anyone else that might need him or in the chance we need to utilize his expertise again. He has his hands in a lot of different pies and maintains great rapport with everyone. more...

Twice as nice
I believe we were first introduced to Islander Home Improvement from a flier on the mailbox. Initially they came to install a bay window and remodel two of our bathrooms. We decided to start on the basement while they were there as well. Though they were on the pricey side the work was excellent. We eventually had them back a few years later to remodel the kitchen. It was well worth the price for the quality of work. more...
